Day : 1 - Backwaters beckoning

On day 1 try to make an early arrival at Cochin International Airport from where we pick you up and head towards the backwaters of Kumarakom. In Kumarakom we shall check into a quite small villa by the backwaters. By sunset we shall go on a sunset cruise on a small shikara boat. In the evening we shall do a barbeque by the lake side where you can try some fish delicacies of the region.

Day : 2 - Drive around Kottayam

On day 2 after break fast we shall head out on a tour of Kumarakom and Kottayam town. The drive to Kottayam from Kumarakom is hardly 12 kms but is a definitely beautiful one for sure. We shall have traditional Kerala fish meals for lunch from Kottayam and head back to the resort by the afternoon. Towards the evening we can go on a bicycle tour through the charming countrysides around the backwater region of Kumarakom. On returning to the resort you can try your hand with fishing in the lake.

Day : 3 - Mesmerizing Vagamon

On day 3 we shall head to Vagamon hills via Ettumanoor, Pala and the drive is a fabulous experience as it winds its way up from the backwater belt of Kerala through to the plantation region and to the highlands of Kerala. On the way to Vagamon we shall stop by at beautiful Marmala waterfalls where you can enjoy a swim by the pool made by the falling waters of the fall. Vagamon enjoys extremely pleasant weather through out the year. While in Vagamon we shall go on an offroad drive to some of the unexplored locations of Vagamon. For those adventurous can also opt for a paragliding trip in the rolling meadows of Vagamon. In the evening we shall also be having a barbeque.

Day : 4 - And to the Airport

On the 4th day we shall check out after the breakfast from vagamon and drive towards Thodupuzha town. The drive is a very scenic drive passing through some among the prettiest plantation belts of the state. In Thodupuzha town we shall have lunch at a beautiful riverside restaurant. Post lunch we shall make our way towards the Airport from where you can take the return flight to go back home.
